Texas Lawyer published a fantastic article with a perspective from the injured family’s viewpoint. A rare viewpoint worth reading and almost never seen in print.
Most stories in the media regarding personal injury or wrongful death cases come from corporate or insurance industry perspectives and are used to condition the public into thinking that 12 jurors with nothing to gain, picked by both sides and the judge to be fair, are somehow more corrupt than politicians and lobbyists who write laws to protect wealthy corporate interests.
